Unter Anleitung von professionellen Tänzer:innen aus Guinea und Mexiko lernen die Teilnehmer:innen verschiedene Schrittfolgen und westafrikanische Rhythmen kennen. Darüber hinaus vermitteln die Kursleiter:innen die Bedeutung der einzelnen Tänze bzw. Rhythmen und Instrumente sowie ihre Geschichten, die meist einen Bezug zu einem soziokulturellen Ereignis haben. So hat das, was getanzt wird, einen ganz bestimmten Sinn. Und dieser Sinn lässt sich im Tanz als Energie unweigerlich spüren.

Sie hat afrikanische Tanzworkshops auf der ganzen Welt in Kalifornien, Mexiko, Argentinien, Chile, Costa Rica, Spanien, Belgien, England und Frankreich unterrichte.

Aboubacar Camara (Rhythmus )
Aboubacar Cámara is a polivalent artist, but mainly a dancer, he is part of the company „Merveilles de Guineé“. Aboubacar comes from the forestal region in Guinea Conakry, he was born and raised in an artistic family, his father was a former dancer in the national company „Ballets Africains“, art has always been an essential aspect of his life.
He decided to dedicate himself completely to be an artist back in 2005, he is deeply in loved and committed to the art form of traditional dance and music from Guinea.

Mamady Sano (Rhythmus Dundunba)
Mamady Sano, is without a doubt one of the most important representatives of Guinean dance around the world. Son of the great Kemoko Sano, he belongs to the 2nd generation from the company „Merveilles de Guineé“ along with some other international artists like Fode Bangoura, Fara Tolno, Naby Bangoura and Marietou Camara.
Mamady has travelled the world teaching his expertise and knowledge, his style is unique, explosive but sharp, full of detail and beauty.
