🎵 Für die musikalische Begleitung sorgt Lancei Dioubate, Meistertrommler und Lehrer aus einer Griot-Familie. Mit seiner Live-Musik schafft er eine lebendige Verbindung zwischen Rhythmus und Bewegung und gibt den Tänzen ihre Seele.

🎵 Music is at the heart of dance, and master drummer Lancei Dioubate will provide live accompaniment. Coming from a Griot family, Lancei is a professional musician and experienced teacher who brings depth and connection to the rhythms and movement through his mastery of traditional instruments.

Über Makiti Camara
Makiti, ein herausragender Künstler des westafrikanischen Tanzes aus Guinea gibt sich die Ehre in Leipzig!!!!.
Bereits im Alter von sieben Jahren begann ihre Ausbildung im traditionellen Tanz bei großen guineischen Meistern. Diese Ausbildung ermöglicht es ihr, zwei Ballette in Guinea zu leiten, insbesondere das Ballet Matam, und sich der Gruppe „Camara percussions“ anzuschließen. Makiti nimmt an zahlreichen künstlerischen Veranstaltungen wie Aufführungen, Videoclips und Workshops in Japan, Taiwan, Gambia, Senegal, Mexiko, Israel, Spanien, etc teil. Er ist Teil der Kompanie Kobe Na Awati, die von Aïssata Kouyaté geleitet wird.
Über Binkiss Sangaré
Binkiss, auch „Pâ“ genannt, gehört zu den bedeutendsten malischen Tänzern seiner Generation. Er wurde von den großen Meistern der traditionellen Tänze Malis ausgebildet und war zudem ein herausragender Tänzer des Ballet du District de Bamako. Von Kayes über Kita bis in die Region Wassoulou vereint sein Tanz die ganze Schönheit und Vielfalt der malischen Tanztraditionen. Im Jahr 2022 ließ er sich in Frankreich nieder, insbesondere in Marseille.
Sein Tanzstil ist leicht, kreativ und zugleich tief in den traditionellen Bewegungen verwurzelt. Mit Binkiss zu tanzen bedeutet nicht nur, seine einzigartige künstlerische Ausdruckskraft zu erleben, sondern auch seine beeindruckende Leichtigkeit und Eleganz zu bewundern.

About Makiti Camara

He began his training in traditional dance at the age of seven with great Guinean masters. This training enabled him to direct two ballets in Guinea, especially the Ballet Matam, and to join the group „Camara percussions“. Makiti participates in numerous artistic events such as performances, video clips and workshops in Japan, Taiwan, Gambia, Senegal, Mexico, Israel, Spain, etc. He is part of the company Kobe Na Awati, directed by Aïssata Kouyaté.
Makiti, a versatile dancer, teaches the workshop with fun and empathy. He teaches basic techniques, fluidity and the variety of Afro-modern dance styles with ease and enjoyment.
About Binkiss Sangaré
Binkiss, also known as “Pâ”, is considered one of the most outstanding Malian dancers of his generation. Trained by the great masters of Mali’s traditional dances, he also became a leading dancer with the Ballet du District de Bamako. From Kayes to Kita and the Wassoulou region, his dance embodies the beauty, richness, and diversity of Malian dance traditions. In 2022, he settled in France, where he is now based in Marseille.
His dance style is light, creative, and deeply rooted in traditional movements. Dancing with Binkiss means not only experiencing his unique artistic expression but also being inspired by his remarkable grace, elegance, and effortless presence.
About Lancei Dioubate
Lancei is a professional musician and music teacher who lives and teaches in Leipzig since 2018. He comes from a griot family and has been playing djembé and other West African instruments (including ngoni and balafon) since his earliest childhood. He learned music and singing from renowned masters of the national ballet ensemble of Guinea („Ballet National de Guinée“) such as Lauren Camara, Yamoussa Camara, Fatouabou Camara and Lansana Dioubate.
